Lisa Marie is an Oakland-based, Black/Filipina writer, currently performing her acclaimed solo show Ungrateful Daughter: One Black Girl’s Story of Being Adopted by a White Family… that Aren’t Celebrities.
Adam Balm is a New Yorker who has spent the last 20 years in the Bay Area. He is finishing up his first manuscript, a coming-of age novel entitled Knucklehead.
Nayomi Munaweera is a Sri Lankan-American author and artist. Her first book, Island of a Thousand Mirrors, a novel about the Sri Lankan civil war, was published in 2012 by Perrera Hussein.
Tara Dorabji is a writer, arts educator, mother, and radio journalist at KPFA. Her work is in the Indian Review, Project Censored 2013, and Midwifery Today.
