clarionalley_credit-cwoodSpread over three hours, the Lit Crawl hosts live readings of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and more in bookstores, bars, art galleries, restaurants, stores, cafés, laundromats, community spaces… even a police station and beekeeping supply store. We even takeover Clarion Alley for outdoor readings and performances under the watchful eye of San Francisco’s most-famous murals.

ALL Lit Crawl readings are free and open to the public (although some venues are 21 and over). Please consider donating (yes, even $1 helps) to Litquake to help support our festival for years to come. Donation pails can be found at each venue, as well as at the Lit Crawl HQ at 518 Valencia between 16th and 17th Streets on the night of the Crawl.
