Join us on Thursday, October 23, for the most anticipated literary night of the year: the second annual Lit Crawl Seattle!
Get drunk … on words!
The second annual Lit Crawl Seattle is literary mayhem at its finest: a literary pub crawl featuring an entire evening of free readings by a veritable who’s who in the Seattle literary scene in bars and cafés, bookstores and art galleries, performance spaces and dance halls across Capitol Hill. We have more than 60 authors who are reading at 19 different venues in three hour-long shifts beginning at 6 p.m. Then join your friends and favorite writers at 9 p.m. for the after party at Richard Hugo House.
Maps will be available at the Elliott Bay Book Company, the Richard Hugo House, and participating venues on Capitol Hill, and you can download a PDF version here.
All Lit Crawl readings are free and open to the public (although some venues are 21+). They’ll be packed too, so bring cash to keep your vamoose to the next spot extra speedy. All reading locations can be identified with a Lit Crawl poster, and volunteers will be on hand to help you find your way. Don’t be surprised to find a roaming poet who will write you a verse on the fly!
